Trailer of the Week: Week 9

The Crash Reel: Because the Olympics are fast approaching, I decided to pick a trailer for a movie that highlights some of the issues with extreme sports. I've seen this movie around 4 times in the past year, and every time I learn something else. It brings up issues with brain trauma and pressure on extreme sports athletes, all through the eyes of snowboarder Kevin Pearce, who suffered a traumatic brain injury himself. It shows his life before the injury, the struggles he faced, and his recovery.
